About The Principles

A long-time writer and editor, Paul Guido is a leading college football historian.  Co-author of the seminal study of the sport, The USA Today College Football Encyclopedia, Paul has been recognized by the National Football Foundation and College Football Researchers Association.  He has also worked as an editor of both The Main Event and The Healthcare Marketer’s Exchange, in addition to freelance editing, writing and blogging.  Paul has also run a sports marketing campaign in the pharmaceutical industry and the leadership department of a not-for-profit.  Other related experience includes the organizing of a weekend music festival for adults with special needs and two day-long carnivals for a school at which he was on the PTA board.  He is also the head coach of a girls’ soccer team.

 Bob Boyles has been fascinated by football since he was a kid. A native of New York City,

Bob now lives in Arizona with previous homes in Boston, Pittsburgh, Chicago, north Jersey, Charlotte, Charlottesville (Va.), Cleveland, and Wilmington (Del.), and briefly in Denver and central Florida.

    Bob was PR director of the New York Raiders of the World Hockey Association and worked extensively in brand identification through sports with clients Gillette, Burger King, Kraft General Foods, Mazda, Smithfield Foods, and MBNA America Bank.

    He spent 17 years in promotion and guest hospitality in NASCAR, including sponsor representation with drivers Bobby Labonte, Tony Stewart, Ward Burton, and with Joe Gibbs Racing.

    With Paul Guido, he is the co-author of eight annual editions of the comprehensive USA Today College Football Encyclopedia.

    Bob has served as a 17-year board member of the Valley of the Sun Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

Tony is a seasoned IT professional who has worked with numerous start-up and small IT companies (as well as a few large corporations) in many facets of the business including design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation and training. Worked with numerous programming languages on a variety of platforms/operating systems across businesses in a diverse array of fields including banking, insurance, manufacturing, department of defense contractors, retail, logistics systems and the legal professions. Tony has also functioned as the (volunteer) president and vice president of a local ski club and regularly works for a number of local charity/not-for-profit organizations in the community.
